About The Position

The Marlborough Public Schools currently has the following coaching positions for the 2026/2027 School year: WINTER SEASON SPORTS November 30, 2026 to March 5, 2027. This role oversees the management, coaching, and development of the team. It involves instituting practice plans and game management. The coach will assist with the hiring process of varsity assistants and sub-varsity staffs (when applicable) and performs other specific duties as directed by the Director of Athletics. If a sport is cancelled in full, there will be no stipend paid. If a sport is cancelled in part, a stipend may be pro-rated depending on the length of time of the cancellation.

• Game and Rule knowledge.
• Previous coaching and/or playing experience (minimum high school level)
• Passing all State and Federal background check requirements
• Submission of a completed Certificate of Medical Examination.
