About The Position

The Marlborough Public Schools is seeking coaches for the Spring Season (2026-27 School Year), which runs from March 15, 2027, to June 11, 2027. Various coaching positions are available at both the High School and Middle School levels, including Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and JV Coach roles for sports such as Baseball, Lacrosse, Outdoor Track, Softball, Volleyball, Tennis, and Unified Sports. Stipends are contingent upon the sport season occurring as scheduled, with potential pro-rating for partial cancellations. The role involves overseeing team management, coaching, development, instituting practice plans, game management, and assisting with hiring staff. Specific duties will be assigned by the Director of Athletics.

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience (minimum high school level)

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management, coaching, and development of the team.
• Institutes practice plans and game management.
• Assist with hiring process of varsity assistants and sub- varsity staffs (when applicable).
• Performs other specific duties as directed by the Director of Athletics.
