About The Position

Skyhawks Sports is seeking energetic and passionate individuals to join their team as Coaches and Directors for their Fall 2026 season in Avimor, ID. This part-time, in-person role focuses on leading youth sports programs designed for beginner to intermediate athletes. The company provides a curriculum, equipment, training, and support, allowing coaches to focus on engaging with the children. This is an opportunity to become a positive and trusted figure within the Avimor community, helping kids build confidence, improve skills, and foster a love for sports.

Requirements

Must complete online training and field training before working the first program.
Energy, reliability, and a genuine love for working with kids are non-negotiable.
Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Must be able to complete required online and field training.
Experience working with children or coaching youth sports is preferred.

Nice To Haves

A sports background is helpful.
Leadership, communication, reliability, and experience working with kids are especially valuable for the Director role.

Responsibilities

Lead and energize groups of kids through age-appropriate sports activities.
Teach fundamental skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
Build genuine relationships with kids and families.
Communicate warmly and confidently with parents.
Set up equipment and keep the program organized.
Follow Skyhawks curriculum while adapting to the needs of the group.
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for every athlete.
Keep energy high and ensure kids leave each session excited to return.
Represent Skyhawks professionally within the community.
Directors: Lead coaches, manage the program, communicate with families, and ensure the entire experience runs smoothly.
