About The Position

Apple Montessori Schools is seeking a Co Teacher Preschool to help provide students with a safe, enjoyable learning environment and support their individual success. The role involves working with the Head Teacher and other teaching staff on curriculum, lesson planning, parent communication, school events, and curriculum preparation. The Co-Teacher will learn to demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy, maintain accurate student records, and participate in staff development, educational trainings, and mentorship programs. The school describes its modern Montessori approach as offering enrichment beyond traditional education and provides ongoing professional development and career path opportunities.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education, or an associate degree in a similar field with required credits, or a CDA.
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Montessori experience is preferred.
• NAMC certification is preferred, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities
