The City of Victoria is hiring a Co‑op Student to support the planning, design, and delivery of water, sanitary, and storm infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll work with teams that connect field data, engineering design, and long-term capital planning, and gain exposure to how essential water systems are managed and improved across the City. This position offers a blend of office and field experience, with opportunities to support infrastructure investigations, review system data, and contribute to projects at various stages - from early planning through to design and construction. It’s a great fit for someone interested in municipal engineering who enjoys working with both technical information and real-world infrastructure, and wants to understand how integrated water systems are developed and maintained. If you're a collaborative, detail-oriented self-starter who wants to build a strong foundation in municipal water infrastructure planning and delivery, we look forward to receiving your application. As a student hired under the Co-operative Educational Training Program, you will be given meaningful and challenging assignments while being introduced to a career in municipal government. In this Co-op position you will assist with supernumerary projects and contribute to the overall goals of the work unit.
