About The Position

BDO Canada’s Management Consulting Practice is a national advisory team that helps clients address complex business challenges and achieve meaningful transformation. We are looking for a Co-op or Intern who is passionate about solving business problems and enjoys engaging with business and technology leaders to help shape the future of their organizations.

Requirements

  • Are currently working towards an undergraduate degree, focused in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Economics, Mathematics, or other relevant program.
  • Have experience and a genuine interest in management consulting and technology.
  • Familiar with digital strategy principles, data and analytics capabilities, and AI applications in business.
  • Have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Naturally curious and passionate about technology and innovation, with proven leadership skills and can take initiative to seek understanding of complex challenges.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, client-driven environments
  • Ability to diagnose project issues, build solutions, and draft impactful communications for clients
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering various digital strategy client engagements (i.e. understanding/prioritizing needs, identifying and evaluating opportunities)
  • Assist in preparing proposals to win new client work across different industries and practices
  • Perform data collection and analysis, partake in stakeholder interviews and client discovery sessions, among other value-added tasks to support the development of creative solutions
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with clients and colleagues, delivering high quality, professional, and responsive service
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members regarding project progress & associated activities
  • Remain up to date on technology & industry developments, both current and future, leveraging those insights to bring fresh ideas to solve our client’s unique problems.
