About The Position

Our Halifax office is looking for a Co-op student or Intern to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team from January to April 2027.

Requirements

• Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
• Interested in long term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team
• Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
• Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience or certifications with Quickbooks, Xero and/or Sage

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement
• Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
• Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
• Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
• Assisting other departments when needed with various Accounting functions
