Co-op or Intern, Assurance (Winter 2027)
About The Position
Our Halifax office is currently looking for Co-op Students or Interns to join the Assurance team from January to April 2027. This role involves utilizing technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments, preparing and completing working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards, gathering evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements, building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to requests and suggestions, and effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
- A desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- Proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
