About The Position

The Co-Lead Infant Teacher provides loving, responsive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and developmental needs are met in a warm, stimulating environment. The teacher implements the AEA curriculum and engages children in developmentally appropriate activities that foster a love of learning. Working with a supportive team, the teacher helps create a positive and enriching educational experience. The role includes assessing children's growth and areas for improvement, holding formal meetings with parents, assisting with diaper changes, and learning and following Amazing Explorers Academy policies, procedures, and expectations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education, or 45 hours of training.
• Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor with an outgoing personality.
• Highly professional and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
• Complete required paperwork, including daily notes, accident reports, and attendance records.
• Attend staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings.
• Supervise and assist children during activities.
• Provide counseling for social, academic, or adjustment issues.
• Plan and implement lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
• Prepare instructional aids and materials.
• Assist with mealtimes and cleanup.
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and used properly.
• Arrange the classroom to create well-defined interest areas.
• Keep the classroom organized and clean.
• Communicate with parents and maintain children's developmental profiles.
• Schedule and conduct parent/teacher conferences.
• Manage classroom bulletin boards and the family information board.
• Perform assigned duties.
• Implement the AEA curriculum and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assess children's growth and areas for improvement.
• Assist with diaper changes.
• Learn and follow academy policies, procedures, and expectations.
