About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher for its West Loop location. The teacher will work alongside other teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role includes working in one assigned classroom and supporting children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

The Lead Infant Teacher creates developmentally appropriate curricula and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles, and maintains a warm, clean, and safe environment where children can grow and explore. The position also involves partnering with families to plan care and education and communicating effectively with parents and guardians about their child.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a licensed child care facility.

Responsibilities
