About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a CNO Analyst/Programmer to join their team. This role involves providing custom software design and development for CNO tools and techniques, including end-to-end data flow and tasking. The position requires authoring documentation, participating in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with government procedures. Programming will be done in languages such as Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python. Developers will create Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET, UNIX applications using make files, or embedded/mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open-source build environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) with 0 years of experience or a High School Diploma with 4 years of experience.
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance
  • Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Software analysis or reverse engineering
  • CNO development concepts
  • Unit testing frameworks and practices

Responsibilities

  • Provides custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques.
  • Designs and develops end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools developed.
  • Provides/authors documentation, participates in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with the Government's software development procedures and processes.
  • Programs in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open-source build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using propriety, GOTS, or open-source build environments.
  • Provide/author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software development procedures and processes.
