About The Position

Advance CNC Machining is hiring an experienced CNC Swiss & Mill Turn Setup Machinist for its aerospace and defense machine shop in Grove City, Ohio. The role involves setting up complex CNC machining jobs and ensuring they are ready to consistently produce accurate, repeatable, quality parts. The machinist will take ownership of jobs from setup through production and support CNC operators during production runs.

Advance CNC Machining produces high-precision machined parts for customers in equipment manufacturing, food, drug, aerospace, and defense industries. The company describes itself as a growing team of more than 60 people and offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus paid in three installments: $2,500 at 90 days, $2,500 at six months, and $2,500 at one year. Relocation assistance is available. Compensation is $40 per hour, depending on experience. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Experience as a CNC Swiss and Mill Turn setup machinist.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming.
• Knowledge of CNC machines.
• Successful pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities
