About The Position

Advance CNC Machining is seeking an expert-level CNC Programmer for its aerospace and defense machine shop in Grove City, Ohio. The role is responsible for accurate CNC programming and execution, with ownership of the programming process, source-level problem solving, and continuous improvement of machining. The programmer will use Mastercam to program two Tsugami TMA8F Multi Function Mill Turn machines and one Tsugami B0126-VR Swiss Lathe, and will handle fixture design, tool selection, and setup sheets. The role works with Production and Quality groups to ensure quality machined parts are produced.

Requirements

• Ability to write excellent CNC programs.
• At least five years of experience with Mastercam or comparable software for Swiss and Mill Turn machining.
• At least five years of experience as a CNC Setup Machinist.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Vericut software.

Responsibilities

• Program two Tsugami TMA8F Multi Function Mill Turn machines and one Tsugami B0126-VR Swiss Lathe using Mastercam.
• Provide accurate CNC programming and execution.
• Design fixtures, select tools, and prepare setup sheets.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality groups to ensure quality machined parts.
• Take ownership of the programming process, solve problems at their source, and look for ways to improve machining.
