CNC Setup Machinist - $7,500 Sign-on bonus
About The Position
Advance CNC Machining is seeking an experienced 4- and 5-Axis CNC Setup Machinist for their aerospace and defense machine shop in Grove City, Ohio. The ideal candidate is conscientious, independent, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable, with a strong understanding that a successful setup involves creating a process for accurate, repeatable parts, not just getting a machine running. Advance CNC Machining specializes in producing high-precision machined parts for various industries, including equipment manufacturers, food, drug, aerospace, and defense. Requirements
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming.
- Knowledge of CNC machines
Responsibilities
- Setting up CNC machining centers for production
- Creating first article parts for verification
- Supporting CNC Operators during production runs
