About The Position

EMC Precision is hiring an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to manufacture precision components using Citizen L20 and M32 machines. The role involves operating multiple Swiss machines simultaneously and maintaining equipment and a clean work area. Set-up experience is a plus. Positions are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with shift premiums.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Be fluent in shop math.
• Have at least one year of shop experience.
• Have a solid work history.
• Frequently push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see generally and close up, hear, speak, and use motor coordination and hand, eye, foot, wrist, arm, and finger dexterity.
• Occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, grip, and climb flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple Swiss machines simultaneously.
• Use various types of measuring instruments.
• Replace tooling and adjust tools to meet blueprint specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspection after setup is completed.
• Recommend process improvements and work with a supervisor or programming personnel to resolve problems.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area using 5S techniques and methods.
• Perform daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
