About The Position

EMC Precision is hiring an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to manufacture precision components using Citizen L20 and M32 machines. The role involves operating multiple Swiss machines, maintaining equipment and a clean work area, and helping ensure parts meet blueprint specifications. The position is full-time and is available on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

• At least one year of shop experience.
• Fluency in shop math.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Solid work history.
• Able to frequently push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see generally and close up, hear, speak, and use motor coordination and dexterity, including eye, hand, and foot coordination and use of the hands, wrists, arms, and fingers in any direction.
• Able to occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, grip, and climb flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple Swiss machines simultaneously.
• Use various types of measuring instruments.
• Replace tooling and adjust tools to meet blueprint specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspection after setup is completed.
• Recommend process improvements with a supervisor or programming personnel to resolve problems.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area using 5S techniques and methods.
• Perform daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
