CNC Programmer (2nd Shift, Mon-Fri)

Component Repair Technologies•Mentor, OH
•Onsite

About The Position

The CNC Programmer plans, develops, programs, sets up, and operates computer numerical controlled machines used to machine turbine engine components. Programming work generally involves vertical and horizontal milling, turning, and grinding. Mastercam and NC Plot are the primary software used to develop repair codes for CNC equipment. The work supports aerospace and marine turbine-engine customers, and finished products must conform to original equipment manufacturer specifications. The role is part of a large Machining Department and involves working alongside experienced machinists and process engineers, with opportunities for ongoing interaction and knowledge-sharing in machining techniques, print reading, and technical drawing interpretation. Primary duties are performed in a climate-controlled, modern facility. Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) has operated in Mentor, Ohio, since 1985 and has grown to more than 500 employees. It specializes in repairing and overhauling turbine engine components and became a Safran Aircraft Engines company in 2025, serving as a Center of Excellence for repairing large jet engine parts in the Americas.
