About The Position

Open Mind Developments is launching its first U.S.-based manufacturing and fulfillment facility and is seeking a hands-on CNC Production Assistant to play a key role in its smooth and efficient operation from day one. This position involves leading day-to-day CNC production support, overseeing machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, and driving continuous improvements to maximize uptime, output, and product quality within a clean, controlled environment designed for performance and precision.

Available 5 days a week - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Perform CNC machine homing and start-up procedures.
Load correct cut files and set up appropriate jigs.
Zero working home origin for each job.
Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to jigs as needed.
Operate CNC machines - load/unload cases, optimize cycle times, and apply MagSafe.
Visually inspect CNC’d cases to ensure quality standards are met.
Organize defective products by order and submit for reprocessing.
Maintain organized staging of WIP (work-in-progress) cases awaiting CNC.
Stage CNC’d cases by order for the shipping team.
Execute bulk CNC runs of blank cases.
Sweep, organize supplies, and properly dispose of garbage.
Assist with monthly inventory counts.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
Support team members as needed.
Operate all equipment safely and follow all safety protocols.
Collaborate with peers and management to improve processes and promote teamwork.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative facility culture.
