About The Position

Volt is hiring a CNC Operator in Irvine, California. The operator will set up, operate, and monitor Swiss CNC machines, including Citizen Swiss CNC equipment. The role involves loading raw materials, adjusting and troubleshooting machinery, calibrating machines, and programming and optimizing CNC programs. The operator will read and interpret blueprints and drawings and inspect finished products for conformance using precision measurement tools. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with overtime on days off. The pay rate is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.

Requirements

Extensive experience with CNC setups, tool selection and installation, programming, offsetting, troubleshooting, and program optimization strategies.
Strong math skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Solid understanding of part inspection principles.
Knowledge of micrometers, optical comparators, and measuring microscopes.
Understanding of machine operation and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

Citizen Swiss CNC programming experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
