About The Position

Bulmann Dock & Lift is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join its manufacturing team in Boyne City, Michigan. The position operates CNC equipment to produce quality components used in dock and lift systems. CNC programming experience is not required, but candidates should have experience operating CNC machinery and making necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience making CNC offset adjustments.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience, particularly with aluminum fabrication.
• Basic CNC programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
• Load materials, install tooling, and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Monitor machine operations and make offset adjustments to maintain accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
