About The Position

The CNC Operator II operates CNC horizontal and vertical machines using complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts. The role includes operating, loading, and unloading parts; changing tools and making tool offsets; inspecting and measuring finished products; adjusting machinery to compensate for tool wear; troubleshooting operating difficulties; and learning to set up new jobs with assistance.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Thursday from 4:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Friday overtime may be needed. Applicants who accept an employment offer must pass a background check and drug screen and meet ATF requirements for firearm possession. The salary is $17–$21 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machines.
• At least 1 year of experience running CNC horizontal and/or vertical machines and performing basic CNC machining.
• At least 1 year of experience using calipers and other measurement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read drawings and understand tolerances.
• Pass a background check and drug screen after accepting an employment offer.
• Meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Responsibilities

• Operate, load, and unload parts on CNC machines.
• Complete tool changes and make tool offsets.
• Inspect and measure finished products, comparing them with required documents to determine whether the process was completed properly.
