The position may also include training new operators. Work may take place in environments with varying temperatures and noise, or in controlled-temperature areas with dust collection systems. Required PPE includes safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, gloves, and cut-resistant gloves when necessary. Physical duties include standing, intermittent walking, reaching, sitting, bending, and lifting products weighing up to 33 pounds. Work requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and stamina for repetitive tasks. Shifts are listed as 3rd shift, 10:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m., or 2nd shift; work periods are approximately eight or twelve hours with scheduled breaks.
