About The Position

This position involves setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, to machine complex components to tight tolerances. The role requires interpreting detailed engineering drawings and GD&T, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring compliance with quality standards such as AS9100 and ITAR. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with engineering on process improvements and mentoring junior machinists.

Requirements

• 10+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace/defense preferred)
• Advanced multi-axis machining and strong G-code knowledge
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and machining practices
• Deep understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience with regulated environments (AS9100, NADCAP)
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Must be knowledgeable with GD&T
