Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Machinist training or solid experience in a machine shop
• Confidence setting up machines and working with CNC programs
• Good understanding of geometry and basic trigonometry
• Ability to read technical drawings
• A practical problem solver who can think through
• Team players rely on each other here
• Reliable, organized, and steady in your approach
• Strong focus on safety and quality
• US Person, defined as an individual that is a: Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC and manual machining equipment
• Write and adjust CNC programs based on part requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints (simple through to more detailed)
• Inspect parts using visual and dimensional checks to ensure quality
• Build simple jigs and fixtures when needed
• Keep your workspace clean and organized using 6S
• Follow all safety procedures—no shortcuts here
• Support the wider team and pick up additional tasks as required
