About The Position

We are looking for a CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist. This role requires proficiency in Mazak machines with live tooling, Mazak controls programming, Mazatrol, and conversational programming. Experience with Haas machines is also necessary. The position involves setting up machines for production, machining/fabricating components, continuous inspection of parts, completing secondary operations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing machinery maintenance and repairs, managing shop tooling inventory, recording drawing updates, ensuring production schedules and ship dates are met, and informing management of potential issues while participating in solutions. Additionally, the role may involve supervising and training fellow employees.

Requirements

Must know Mazak with live tooling, Mazak controls programming, Mazatrol, Conversational programming.
Experience with Haas machines.

Responsibilities

Set up machines for production components.
Machine/fabricate standard and special components.
Continuous inspection of components while in process.
Complete secondary operations as required.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment while following all safety standards.
Complete machinery maintenance and repairs as required.
Responsible for stock of all shop tooling.
Record notations of necessary up-dates or changes to drawings.
Assure production schedule and ship dates are met consistently.
Inform management of potential problems, while participating and incorporating solutions for problems.
Supervise and train fellow employees when necessary.
