About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled CNC Machinist on behalf of a valued client partner in the precision medical device manufacturing sector. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this CNC Machinist opportunity. We are seeking a dependable, production-focused machinist who can operate CNC equipment, inspect high-precision components, maintain tight tolerances, and support daily manufacturing output in a regulated environment. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of CNC machining experience in a production setting
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints
  • Hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar precision measuring tools
  • Experience inspecting parts to tight tolerances
  • Ability to operate multiple machines efficiently
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset
  • High attention to detail with quality-first work habits
  • Ability to work any assigned shift after training period
  • Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered
  • No CNC production machining experience
  • No blueprint reading ability
  • No precision measurement / inspection experience
  • Inability to hold tight tolerances consistently
  • Poor attendance or unstable work history
  • Frequent job changes without clear rationale or progression

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries
  • Experience assisting with machine setups, offsets, and changeovers
  • Exposure to climate-controlled precision manufacturing environments
  • Experience with Mazak lathes, machining centers, 5-axis mills, or Integrex equipment
  • Experience with Star Swiss-style lathes
  • Familiarity with quality systems, process documentation, and production metrics
  • Strong attendance and reliability record
  • Candidates with experience operating Mazak lathes, machining centers, 5-axis mills, or Integrex machinery
  • Candidates with experience operating Star Swiss-style lathes
  • CNC machinists from medical device environments
  • Mazak or Swiss lathe operators
  • Machinists with setup/changeover support experience
  • Reliable operators who thrive in quality-driven production settings

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines in a production machining environment
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining output and quality standards
  • Inspect machined parts to tight tolerances using precision measuring tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions accurately
  • Follow established CNC programs, process sheets, and operating procedures
  • Monitor tooling condition and report production or quality issues promptly
  • Support machine changeovers, setup adjustments, and production continuity
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant work areas
  • Meet daily production schedules while preserving quality expectations
