About The Position
S.S. White Technologies Inc./SHUKLA Medical is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a full-time, regular position on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role requires the ability to interpret blueprints and use inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers. The company is a well-established manufacturer of aerospace, automotive, and orthopedic surgical tools with a long history and a global presence.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 4 - 5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Wire EDM machines
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Understand shop floor math
- Ability to hold close tolerances (.0002")
- Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometer and caliper
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Sodick and Fanuc Robocut machines
- Knowledge in manual machining or tool & die making
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Wire EDM machines (training available)
- Conduct basic inspection as required
- Perform hand finishing, parts cleaning and other general tasks as required
