CNC Machinist- All Shifts
About The Position
Gleason is hiring machinists ranging from entry-level candidates to individuals with master-level experience. The position involves setting up and operating a variety of conventional and/or CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Machinists apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures, and inspect finished parts to verify that they meet defined print specifications. Tools may include lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, CNC multi-axis machining centers, internal and external precision grinders, and CURVIC coupling grinders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing or Machining.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience in precision machining, including master-level experience.
Responsibilities
