About The Position
Cannonball Recruiting is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for multiple roles at production and job shop facilities in Pennsylvania. The facilities serve aerospace, marine, medical device, and nuclear industries and use equipment from Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Mazak, and other manufacturers. The listed pay is $30–$40 per hour. First- and second-shift schedules are Monday through Friday, with overtime availability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Trade certificate or at least 2 years of experience operating CNC machines.
- Proficient math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented and willing to help peers, with an open mind to new ideas and ways of completing projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and multi-axis machines.
- Interpret blueprints, manuals, and GD&T symbols.
- Use math skills in machining work.
- Work with various types of metals.
- Take measurements and determine correctness using CMMs, micrometers, depth gauges, and similar tools.
- Follow good manufacturing and safety practices.
- Complete quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
