About The Position

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for manufacturing threaded connections in compliance with company and API 7-1/7-2 specifications. This role involves operating manual and CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and performing maintenance on machine shop equipment. The position requires maintaining a safe and organized work environment and adhering to all company policies and procedures. The CNC Machinist will also operate various shop equipment, monitor production to meet output goals, manage tooling inventory, inspect finished products, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. This role reports directly to the Facility Manager or an assigned company representative and supports continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Good visual acuity, including color perception
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and comply with all company safety policies

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture threaded connections in compliance with company and API 7-1/7-2 specifications
  • Operate manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and related equipment
  • Interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on machine shop equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all HSE, Quality, and company policies and procedures
  • Operate shop equipment such as presses, bandsaws, conveyors, cranes, hoists, and lifts
  • Monitor production to meet daily and weekly output goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Manage tooling and equipment inventory within the machine shop
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status
  • Report directly to the Facility Manager or assigned company representative
  • Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
