About The Position

Our Level III machinists are setting up and programming jobs while operating several machines, maintaining machines and may assist with training. Magnus Precision Manufacturing is a 100% employee-owned company dedicated to precision, quality, and innovation. We machine metal parts with tight tolerances for industries including aerospace and defense.

Requirements

Some CNC experience is required (metal and tight tolerances preferred).
Familiar with quality procedures and drawings/blueprints.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to pass pre-employment screening (drug screen, fit-for-duty exam, background check, employment verification and reference check).
Knowledgeable and/or experienced in CAD/CAM.
Relevant AS9100 competencies as defined by QL-7200 Training Matrix.

Responsibilities

Sets up, programs and runs new jobs.
Able to maintain equipment/machines.
May act as a liaison between customer/purchasing/engineering and outside groups.
Is familiar with quality standards and adheres to quality procedures and work instructions.
Operates several pieces of equipment.
May train others within the group.
Responsible for quality, quantity and safety.
Adheres to quality procedures and company policies.
Keeps accurate records.
Keeps work area clean.
Will perform other duties as directed.
