About The Position

ENTEK is seeking applications for multiple CNC Machinist roles to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon, location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required). As a CNC Machinist at ENTEK, you will produce machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. As an ENTEK CNC Machinist, you will be expected to verify settings by measuring positions, creating first-run parts, and sample workpieces during production machining. You'll also set up tooling, fixturing, and inspection equipment required for part types in the production group and perform maintenance duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Experience in the operation of drilling, boring and milling, turning, etc. tooling and procedures where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain
  • Ability to read and use G- & M-codes at the control
  • Ability to read and understand GD&T tolerancing
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Ability to self-manage behavior
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions
  • Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
  • Ability to simplify and recognize trends in complex information and data
  • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen and fit-for-duty screen

  • Ability to read blueprint specifications or equivalent
