About The Position
CNC machinists are responsible for the safe operation of CNC equipment to complete assigned projects and parts manufacturing that meet the required dimensional tolerances for each specific part. Requirements
- Experience with overhead crane operation
- Experience with forklift operation
- Utilize both manual tools and CNC equipment effectively.
- Familiar with precision measuring equipment
- Must adhere to all APG Safety and Quality procedures and processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 30 training is a plus
Responsibilities
- Program using Mastercam
- Set up, and run CNC machinery Lathe and mills independently
- Handle routine maintenance on all computer-controlled machines.
- Achieve tight machining tolerances down to +/- 0.0005.
- Complete tasks independently or alongside team members.
