Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or CNC certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment and performing quality inspections.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multi-axis machining or programming is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in proper operating condition.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and team members to meet production goals and delivery schedules.
