Second Shift at Carlson is great for night owls or those balancing life during the day, offering less traffic, quieter floors, focused work, higher pay, and more flexibility. Paid mealtime is included.

Requirements

• Proficiency in operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers — required
• Strong programming skills — required
• Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings
• Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Capable of machining precision parts from start to finish

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling Centers
• Inspect and validate your own work using precision measuring equipment
• Complete short-run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool adjustments
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

• Weekly pay: Starting at $30/hr and up, depending on experience + an additional 10% Shift Differential
