About The Position

The primary purpose of this job is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts. The role involves working with CNC lathes and mills in a clean room environment. This is a third-shift, 5-axis CNC Machinist position with a 15% shift premium.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 3 years of CNC experience, or journeyman machinist experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.
• Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances.
• Ability to use basic inspection tools and techniques.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Good understanding of shop math.
• Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple machines at the same time.
• Operate CNC machines proficiently.
• Oversee setup and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills.
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts.
