About The Position

AESSEAL is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce precision items from prints or drawings, going beyond the capabilities of standard production machine operators. This role involves operating and maintaining various machine tools, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications, and contributing to a safe and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in planning setup and operation of machine shop tools.
Ability to produce parts to tolerances and company specifications.
Experience with loading parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, and inspecting quality parts.
Skill in studying and interpreting drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts.
Ability to detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machines.
Willingness to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with machine set-up.
Knowledge of milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, bench operations, and inspection.

Responsibilities

Produce precision items from prints or drawings.
Operate and maintain machine tools to produce parts to tolerances and company specifications.
Plan setup and operation of machine tools.
Load parts, prove programs, operate controls, set offsets, perform simple edits, and inspect quality parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
Detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machines as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
Follow lockout-tagout procedures.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Clean up shavings and scrap.
Communicate with supervisor for assignments and to resolve issues.
Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, bench operations, and inspection.
