About The Position

BestLogic Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a second-shift opportunity. This position is responsible for setting up and machining large components while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, productivity, and documentation.

Requirements

  • At least four years of relevant CNC machining experience.
  • Experience setting up and machining large parts or weldments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming fundamentals, including G-codes and M-codes.
  • Ability to make offset, tool-wear, and zero-point adjustments independently.
  • Proficiency with gauges, micrometers, and other precision inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant technical education, certification, or vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up large parts and weldments for CNC machining.
  • Operate assigned CNC equipment efficiently and maximize machine utilization.
  • Read and interpret complex CNC programs, including G-codes and M-codes.
  • Make offset, tool-wear, and zero-point adjustments when required.
  • Inspect weldments and machined components to verify dimensional accuracy and quality.
  • Use gauges, micrometers, and other precision-measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret advanced blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Accurately complete production, inspection, and process documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel.
  • Identify and communicate machining or quality concerns promptly.
