About The Position
The Machinist III produces precision parts using machine tools and equipment. The role involves measuring workpieces, installing machine parts, and performing quality inspections. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in CNC programming. Compensation: $30.15–$36.95.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of machining experience.
- CNC programming experience, including Mastercam.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Estimate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Produce or repair precision parts using manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
- Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools to perform precision machining operations.
- Program more complex parts to be machined.
- Measure and outline parts to be machined using various devices and tools to obtain accurate dimensions.
- Assist with the design of basic manufacturing fixtures.
