About The Position

As a leader in CNC machining and work truck and van upfits for over 90 years, we are adding another CNC Machinist to our team due to increased work volume. We are looking for an individual with a go-getter attitude, and high attention to detail. Your attendance must be punctual and reliable. This person is vital to our daily operations so please do not apply if this does not describe your work ethic. This position will perform precision CNC machining, custom fabrication, repair machining, production runs, prototyping, and driveline services. Candidate is required to have prior precision CNC machine technology experience and a strong mechanical background. THIS IS NOT A MACHINE OPERATOR POSITION.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience, or two years vocational or technical school
High proficiency with CNC machining equipment, with significant experience running a lathe
Must be able to multi-task on machines and different projects
Must be able to produce quality products within budget
High attention to details and meeting deadlines
Strong mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

additional welding skills are a plus
mill experience is a plus
Mazak experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

Extensive manual machining experience is required; additional welding skills are a plus
This position will primarily set up and operate CNC lathes but mill experience is a plus (Mazak experience is a bonus)
Read blueprints and interpret tolerances
Evaluate breakdown jobs and understand tolerances for repair
Read, verify, and operate micrometers, gauges and precision measuring instruments
Prioritize different tasks and be able to efficiently manage your time
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
