CNC / Machine Operators - Talent Pool Texas
About The Position
Join a talent pool of CNC and Machine Operators supporting upcoming manufacturing and production projects in the San Antonio, Schertz, and Seguin regions of Texas. Future opportunities may be short-term or long-term and may range from entry-level machine operation to skilled CNC programming and setup roles. Full-time and part-time opportunities are considered, with compensation varying by project and experience. Operators may work with CNC lathes, mills, routers, and other equipment. Typical work includes machine setup, calibration, changeovers, monitoring production runs, performing quality checks, adjusting offsets and tooling, and carrying out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting. The hiring team will contact talent pool members when an opportunity matches their skills, experience, and availability.
Requirements
- Experience as a CNC or machine operator is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; requirements vary by role.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime if required.
Nice To Haves
- CNC setup and programming experience.
- Knowledge of G-code and CAM software.
- Experience with metals, plastics, or composites.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers.
- Set up, calibrate, and change over machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
