About The Position

The CNC Machine Operator will operate and adjust semi-automatic CNC machining equipment to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. This role involves learning the set-up process, recognizing tooling and procedures, and adhering to tight tolerances. The operator will follow detailed instructions, work from standard coding and operational data to change or mount tools and position work pieces, and adjust machine and fixture stops to maintain finish and tolerance requirements. They will also work from part drawings, use precision measuring instruments to check and inspect work, and recognize and report machine malfunctions or tooling difficulties. The position may involve assisting with setups or program proving, and all work procedures and products will be subject to check and inspection under supervision. The operator must follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations
  • Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow directions
  • 1+ years of CNC Machining

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating CNC grinding equipment such as; Walter, Ewag, Rollamatic, ANCA, Waida, Vollmer, etc.
