About The Position

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for consistently producing parts that have been prepared and set up on a CNC machine. The operator loads material, runs machine programs, checks finished parts against specifications, and maintains quality and cleanliness standards. The role may involve operating multiple machines and adjusting offsets as needed, while communicating job progress to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Be flexible to work overtime as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Demonstrated teamwork and team-building skills.
• Experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel.

• Associate degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load material into the CNC machine.
• Run machine programs to produce high-quality parts.
• Maintain company standards for the aesthetic quality of manufactured parts and the internal work environment.
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins to inspect parts as they come off the machine.
• Identify parts that deviate from standard specifications.
• Run multiple machines when necessary.
• Adjust offsets when necessary.
• Communicate job progress to the supervisor.
• Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
