About The Position

The CNC Machine Operator is an experienced CNC machinist responsible for setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers to produce quality parts from drawings and blueprints. The role includes selecting tooling, inspecting finished parts with mechanical inspection tools, and maintaining accurate production records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Manual machining experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or vocational school diploma.
• Forklift operation.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up vertical and horizontal machining centers and specify tooling.
• Produce quality parts using drawings and blueprints.
• Inspect machined parts using mechanical inspection tools, including micrometers, dial calipers, pin gages, thread gages, Tessa height, and an optical comparator.
• Maintain accurate records and submit work documents to production planning in a timely manner.
