About The Position

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and tools. The role contributes to delivering high-quality products while maintaining safety and efficiency in the workplace. The swing shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with various types of CNC machines, including plasma, brake, and shear machines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and practices in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Technical degree or certification in CNC machining.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for production runs based on specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Assist in training new operators and share knowledge about machinery and processes.
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs of completed work.
