About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our Weekend Shift Team on a full-time or part-time basis. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining (CNC) lathe machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, and we are looking for someone with strong technical skills and attention to detail. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T symbols

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MasterCam or other 3D modeling software is a plus
  • Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
  • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
