CNC Lathe Machinist
About The Position
William Sopko & Sons Co. is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist to join its growing team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes, reading blueprints and part drawings, inspecting parts with precision measuring tools, making basic machine offsets and G-code edits, and producing quality parts efficiently. The company describes the position as offering steady work, consistent hours, and a supportive shop environment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday for full shifts and Friday for a half-day, with no weekends. Part-time shifts are available. William Sopko & Sons Co. is a family-owned manufacturing company established in 1952. It specializes in repairing cartridge spindles, manufacturing wheel adapter accessories and quills, and distributing belts related to spindle systems.
Requirements
- CNC machining experience is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with precision measuring tools.
- Reliable work ethic and attention to detail.
