About The Position
This role involves operating and setting up CNC Swiss machines in a production environment. Responsibilities include loading raw material, monitoring machine performance, performing in-process inspections, reading blueprints, making tool adjustments, maintaining quality and efficiency, and troubleshooting issues. For setup operators, this also includes performing machine setups, tooling changes, job changeovers, editing offsets, and optimizing cycle times.
Requirements
- Experience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

- Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Swiss machines in a production environment
- Load raw material and monitor machine performance during production runs
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators
- Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions
- Make minor tool wear offsets and adjustments as needed
- Maintain production quality and efficiency standards
- Troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues
- Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and job changeovers
- Set tooling, load programs, and verify first article inspections
- Edit offsets and make adjustments at the machine as needed
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
- Optimize cycle times and improve production efficiency
- Support operators during production runs
- Ensure parts are manufactured to print and quality standards
