About The Position

IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for one of our clients located in the Fairfield, Ohio area. This 2nd shift position offers a competitive pay range of $23-30/hr plus shift differential pay. Your hourly rate is based on your skill & experience and determined with the hiring manager. Your work schedule for 2nd shift is Monday - Thursday from 5 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Working as a 2nd shift lathe machinist, you'll have the opportunity to drive excellence in production for our client while working with their state-of-the-art technology. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and editing G-Code programs.
Familiarity with precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to learn to become proficient in operating applicable equipment.
Positive attitude.
Attention to quality and detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Mazatrol, Fanuc, Doosan, and/or Okuma systems.

Responsibilities

Setting up, programming, and operating horizontal CNC and manual machines.
Creating precise programs and selecting appropriate tooling and work holding solutions to ensure part accuracy.
Running production.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
