About The Position

Daniels Manufacturing Corporation is hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist to manufacture precision components with tight diameter and length tolerances. The role involves setting up, programming, operating, and troubleshooting CNC lathes to support high-quality production and reliable customer delivery. The position is onsite in Orlando, Florida, and is scheduled for second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas, is required.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 or more years of CNC lathe experience.
• Working knowledge of G and M code programming.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with live tooling configurations.
• CMM inspection experience.
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, including 2-axis and live tooling configurations.
• Program lathe operations using G and M code or conversational controls.
• Manage inserts, boring bars, and tooling selection to achieve optimal results.
• Produce parts to tight diameter and length tolerances.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts to produce parts to print.
